Can you believe it's already April?! Spring is in full-swing and so is that time of the year to get out and enjoy the nice weather! We promise you won't go bored this month with our list of events to check out around Denver. There is something to do for everyone!

DENVER BOTANIC GARDENS: FREE DAY!

Denver Botanic Gardens Free Days occur throughout the year at both York Street and Chatfield Farms, thanks to funding from the Scientific and Cultural Facilities District (SCFD). No tickets are needed for admission to Free Days. Free Days are for regular Gardens hours only and do not include ticketed events.

April 12: Free Day

Since 1989, Scientific and Cultural Facilities District (SCFD) has distributed funds from a 1/10 of 1% sales and use tax to cultural facilities throughout the seven-county Denver, Colorado metropolitan area. The funds support cultural facilities whose primary purpose is to enlighten and entertain the public through the production, presentation, exhibition, advancement and preservation of art, music, theatre, dance, zoology, botany, natural history and cultural history.

In honor of our partnership the Colorado Railroad Museum is proud to offer SCFD Sponsored Free Admission Days select Thursdays throughout the year.

Visitors also have the opportunity to catch a ride behind one of the Museum’s historic “Galloping Goose” Motorcars. 

Admission: FREE
Ride Tickets: Adults $4 (16+), Children $2 (2-15, under 2 is free). Museum members receive $1 discount per ticket.


DRINK RINO FREE SHUTTLE

When:  First Fridays 5pm–12am & Every Saturday 4pm–12am

RiNo and the Drink RiNo group sponsors free circulator eTuks every First Friday, 5pm–12am and Saturdays, 4pm–12am. There are multiple stops throughout the neighborhood allowing people to visit artists, studios, breweries, eateries and everything else RiNo has to offer.

The Denver Gluten Free & Allergen Friendly Expo is an event for those living a gluten-free or allergen-friendly lifestyle. Sample hundreds of products, meet with local & national brands, receive coupons and attend informative presentations by top-notch speakers.

Girls Pint Out is teaming up with MEETinDENVER to check out Breweries and Beer Events across the Denver Metro Area!

Join them at Zuni Street Brewing Company in LoHi for some great German, Belgian, and American style beers. 

Look for the "Reserved for Meetin.org" and "Reserved for Girls Pint Out" table tents.

Sabroso Craft Beer, Music & Taco Festival headlined by The Offspring, is a day filled with craft beer, tasty gourmet tacos, Lucha Libre style wrestling and live music. Featuring four hours of craft beer tastings of over 100 craft beers, including some of the best local favorites.


MUSEUM OF NATURE AND SCIENCE: FREE DAY!

When: April 29

Museum of Nature and Science entrance is free, however, a fee still applies to IMAX films, Planetarium shows, and temporary exhibitions. Reservations and amenities (lunchroom, coat and lunch storage, bus drop off, etc.) for school groups are not available on SCFD Community Free Days.
